Delete your Kindos account & associated data

Kindos: Family Organizer gives account holders a way to request deletion of their account and data associated with that account. This page explains the steps and what happens next.

How to request account deletion

Send the request from the email address connected to your Kindos account.

Use the button below or email hello@getkindos.com with the subject “Kindos Account Deletion Request.”

Include enough information for us to verify the account.

Include the email address used for Kindos and, if helpful, the family/household name. Do not send passwords, school passwords, payment-card information, or sensitive documents.

We verify ownership before deleting account data.

We may reply to the registered email address to confirm the request and protect the family account from unauthorized deletion.

The verified deletion request is processed.

Once verified, we remove or de-identify account-associated data that is no longer required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or legitimate shared-family records.

In the Kindos app: account holders can also use the Privacy & Family Safety area to submit an account/data deletion request.

Data included in a deletion request

Depending on the features used, account-associated data may include:

Account profile and sign-in information
Family membership and profile information tied to the account
Kindos calendar, task and reward records tied to the account
Messages, posts, memories or uploaded media created by the account
AI Tutor / Ask Kindos conversation data tied to the account
Location, check-in or safety data tied to the account when those features were enabled

Deleting one adult account does not automatically delete information that belongs to another family member or information another authorized family member needs to keep as part of a shared household record. If you are the family owner and want the entire household removed, say that clearly in your request.

What may be retained

Kindos may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or to maintain records that belong to another authorized family member. When retention is required, access is limited and the information is kept only for the applicable purpose and retention period.

A deletion request is intended to be irreversible once completed. If you only want help changing family access, removing a family member, or correcting information, contact us before requesting full account deletion.
