A 10-minute weekly family planning routine

A little coordination can prevent a lot of last-minute rushing. Use this weekly reset with your household—even if you only have ten minutes. There is no perfect system: the goal is fewer surprises and less responsibility sitting with just one person.

Choose a time most family members can join, such as Sunday evening. Younger children can point to a picture or make one small choice. Teens can take ownership of their own reminders. Keep it supportive, not a performance review.

Make it work for your household

If the family is rushed, pick just the two steps that would relieve the most pressure. Use a shared calendar only when it helps; a paper list on the refrigerator works too. Let children contribute in age-appropriate ways and revisit assignments when circumstances change.

Privacy tip: Keep sensitive schedules, addresses, and children's personal details out of public posts or shared images. This printable works entirely in your browser; the checkboxes on this page do not submit anything to Kindos.
