Sweep a floor
Gather crumbs without spreading them around.
Do it step by step
- Move small obstacles out of the way.
- Sweep from the edges toward one small pile.
- Hold a dustpan against the floor and sweep the pile into it.
- Empty the dustpan and return the broom.

The floor is clear where you swept.
When to ask an adult
Ask before moving heavy furniture or cleaning broken glass.
