Data Retention & Deletion
How Kindos thinks about keeping family information only for as long as it is reasonably needed.
Retention principle
Kindos does not intend to keep children’s personal information indefinitely. Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the specific product, security, legal or support purpose for which it was collected.

Deletion
Families may request deletion through available in-app controls or the Delete Account page. Kindos will delete or de-identify information that is no longer reasonably necessary, subject to limited exceptions such as legal obligations, security/fraud records, shared-family records that must remain understandable to other authorized users, and backups that expire through normal cycles.
Children’s information
Personal information collected online from a child should be kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the specific purpose for which it was collected. Kindos’s child-data practices are also described in the Children’s Privacy Notice.
Operational verification before launch
Because Kindos is in beta, exact technical deletion schedules may vary by system. Before a broad public launch, Kindos should maintain an internal, system-by-system retention schedule that matches production behavior for Supabase, Firebase, AI processing, diagnostics, backups and optional integrations. Public statements should be updated if that implementation changes materially.
